Should you watch “Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy”?

Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, (Hepburn: Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu) is another Isekai Anime on the rise. As this anime is starting to gain publicity from Japan. We would do the favor to review if this anime is worth watching or not. Here are some main highlights, and things you should take note of.

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy of 2021 has a slight twist in storyline compared to any normal Isekai Anime out there. The anime makes great use of its storyline to ensure you as viewers/fans will be hooked on the anime. In terms of the anime’s art and animations, here are some sample images captured from the anime:

Artwork analysis

This anime has multiple scenes which involves violent fights. Using different shapes, they are able to depict fight scenes very well. However, one could argue that animation effects are overused, and more could be done to express character’s emotion through the Anime’s art. Most of the anime’s background artworks are well detailed. But, there isn’t much to go with for the art quality. When looking at just the art itself, this anime is on neutral grounds. However, it ranks very highly for its animation and the scene transitions. (Smooth, and well drawn)

Voice acting & Sound quality analysis

The next area of judgement, is voice acting, along with the sound effects through the series. The sound effects of this anime is well executed and timed. It accurately depicts different noises that can be heard: fight sounds, horse galloping, and much more. For the anime’s Voice acting, the production crews manages to make it sound like the animals were talking in Japanese, instead of a human trying to talk like an animal (orcs/ demi-humans). The script is also well written to suit the demeanor, attitude and character traits of certain characters. The only drawback is the lack of satisfaction which comes from certain ost throughout the anime (example: fighting scenes/ happy scenes). Overall, this anime is great when it comes down to audio, but much more can be done to improve the ost of the anime.

Overall evaluation

This anime is worth watching, but one must not have high hopes for it. Still, this anime successfully manages to inject humor for to those that have watched it, and is overall a great anime for you to lighten the atmosphere and brighten your day. (Watch anime here)

Satou and Zena moments

The episode starts off with Zena asking Satou-san if he has any agendas for the day. Satou has plans to contact “odd jobs” people (odd jobs is a place), asking them if they have any housing or an inn which allows demi-humans to reside in. He does this for his demi-human slaves which are currently living in a stable, as he things that they should be treated better. He then spends the day together with Zena doing the above mentioned.

Going into Odd Jobs, he and Zena is greeted with a lady named Nadi. She smiles and welcomes the two, asking them how she could be of service. Satou then explains what they were looking for, and was told that worker’s residences catered for demi-humans can be mainly be found in West town, and due to increased crimes in that area, the inn rentals there are rather cheaper compared to other locations. When looking for locations to stay in, Satou states that his budget for rental could go up till a gold coin. Nadi then brings Satou to 3 mansions that are for rent at 3 different cheap locations. The houses he was brought to each has its own drawbacks and it was not what he was looking for. Nadi then parted ways with Satou and Zena saying that she would look around for suitable houses in the afternoon, in preparations for Satou to drop by in the evening.

Nadi then told Satou and Zena that there are good bargains around the flea market which has opened up in the plaza yesterday, and recommended them to check out the place. Zena then whispers to Zena a few locations that are great for dates, making fun of her.

On their date, the two met up with the four (Satou’s slaves). They have already bought new clothes for themselves with Satou’s money, and were thankful for those clothes. They continued their journey, buying Educational cards for Pochi and Tama (for teaching them how to read words).

Agreeing with Arisa’s question, Satou then explained that he would be heading with Zena to the outdoor stage for a play. Liza then volunteered to help the couple buy the tickets for the show, and asked them to buy tickets for themselves too.

Zena and Satou on their cute date

Continuing their date, the two then went to a store selling earrings, and Satou bought Zena the pair that she liked. They then proceeded to watch a play, a tragic romantic story, “The Tragedy of Marquis Muno”, which was based on a true story.

The play taking place in the outdoor stage

At the end of the play, Satou walks around the area window shopping. He then encounters a lady whom accidentally dropped her handkerchief without noticing. Satou then picks it up, and returns it to the lady, leading them to a discussion of the play which they both watched earlier. She then told him that the actual story/ script of the play was slightly altered so that there wouldn’t be complains from the nobles, thereby making the play slightly anti-climatic at the end.

Outside the theatre, Zena and Arisa also discusses about how the play went, leading them to a slight argument, in Arisa’s favor. Arisa continues by probing Zena if she would rather marry Satou, or another person which her family has arranged for her, stating her point of view. She also mentions that Zena needs to sacrifice everything for the person she loves, and tells her off that she shouldn’t worry about playing the good girl in her family, or else she would lose out, having the man she cares about stolen from her.

Satou standing in to stop the argument

Satou has no choice but to step in, reprimanding Arisa that she has taken things too far. He then apologizes to Zena, and exerts his authority, asking Arisa to apologize as well. Satou then lightens the atmosphere by treating everyone to meat skewers, which was Liza’s, Pochi’s and Tama’s favorite food.

Zena and Satou then parted ways with the four, and continued their date. Along the way, Zena meets up with her friends serving the military, looking dirty and tired. They catches up with each other, and the trio explained that they had a battle with some Fang Ants along with a group of wererat cavalry whom Ruu suspects to be the cause of attracting the Fang Ants. Ruu then mentions that the leader of the cavalry is wearing a flashy red helmet, and that he got away. Angered by this, Ruu promises that he would not allow him to escape the next time they meet.

Zena catches up with her friends in the military

The date then ends with Zena asking Satou if she could help the other injured soldiers. Out of the blue, there came a scream from a distance, and Tama, which was near the vicinity helps a girl. They killed a Fang Ant and Tama raises it triumphantly in the air. Satou hearing the scream rushes to the vicinity, and asks if the four were okay. He was rather surprised that Tama could handle the Fang Ant which was attacking from above, all by herself.

What Satou sees after rushing to the scene

Satou then quickly scans the area using his ability, showing lots of Fang Ants/ Flying Ants approaching the city. Satou quickly asks Pochi and Tama to get their weapons in preparations for the incoming wave, and instructs Arisa to get Lulu, who is still resting as she was not feeling well. Lastly, he asks Liza, the one oldest amongst the 4, to go and retrieve curtains which they used for their beds. 3 alarms are then sounded far away from the City gates, signaling the arrival of these beasts. Upon analysis, Satou concludes and deems the Flying Ants a potential threat to the city folks as well as the city guards, mainly because these ants have sharp fangs, hard exoskeletons and the ability it has to fly.

Flying Ants entering the city in high numbers

Satou then instructs Arisa to hide together with Lulu at the back of the inn’s bar, and stands by are Tama and Pochi whom readied their weapons. Satou commands Tama and Pochi to fight against the pests, and to protect the inn at the inn’s door. Showing concern for her master, Tama asks Satou where will he be. Satou acknowledges that he will be fine, and shows dominance, saying that he would build a barricade with Liza at the city gates, and would get rid of monsters at the city entrance.

Pochi and Tama showing their skills

The tough fight begins and all was chaos. On the other hand, Satou and his team were not showing signs of fear, and they even stood up brave to fight against those monsters. While Liza dashes through her opponents with a spear, Tama and Pochi are fighting monsters that were trying to get into the city. Satou on the other hand, who has OP stats, is now flicking Pennies at his opponent, killing those monsters with that. It was just such a skill difference. While the other soldiers are attacking the remaining Flying Ants, Satou then rushes to clear up the remaining ants that were in the city. One of which was inside the Odd Jobs place, attacking Nadi with it’s poison. Thankfully, Nadi had escaped into the basement, and Satou has managed to apply the finishing blow to the last flying Ant.

Nadi being pulled out from the basement

Although all the Ants were killed and annihilated, the city is still hard stung with the stench of the dead monsters, along with sticky poison that are on the city walls and floors. Nadi was trapped in the basement, and couldn’t get up, as the stairs which led to the ground floor were covered in sticky poison. This was then when Nadi’s manager/ Odd jobs boss then came to her rescue using magic, wrapping her in the thinnest twine, and pulled her out of the basement.

To thank them both, Nadi kisses Yusaratoya Bolenan (Manager) and Satou as a formality. Satou on the other hand is more curious about the looks of Yusaratoya. Yusaratoya wears a large triangular elf’s hat, has green hair and sharp ears. He looks unfazed and calm.

Outside Odd jobs, the city soldiers can be seen, standing around a pile of Flying ants corpses, burning away. Zena was also waiting for Satou she rushes to Satou, and accidentally trips over her dress, holding Satou in her arms to break her fall. The atmosphere was lighter, and the sky was a golden orange, with the setting of the sun. Zena tells Satou that they are wrapping up the city, and that she would want to join the guards to ensure that there aren’t any other problems in town. Zena then departed ways with Satou.

Before we thought it was the end, Satou was then called out by a man trying to negotiate his way into taking away all the monster cores from Liza. Monster cores can be obtained by killing monsters, and they fetch for a high price in the market. As satou’s team killed a lot of monsters/ Flying ants, they are left with lots of monster cores. Liza guards, and firmly holds the monster cores that are in her hands. Satou reacts politely by drawing up a receipt, which states the number of cores and the amounts that was paid for, along with the man’s proof of identity, shocking the man with his actions. The man knew that he couldn’t take those cores by force, he resorts negotiate with Satou. Satou was unfazed, and kept his cool, using his authoritative voice and the malice in his eyes, he demands the man not to not make a fool of himself. The soldier has no choice but to make the payment (in full), and Satou has successfully turned the tables around, coercing the man into buying the monster cores.

Man threatens Satou with the law

Back in the inn’s bar, the inn keeper complemented the efforts of Tama and Pochi who were protecting the inn despite of their small built. She smiles and treats Satou and his team with the inn’s best food dishes that she and her husband has whipped up for her. Finishing dinner, Satou then takes a stroll outside around the city streets and enjoys the chilling night wind. He meets up with 2 gentleman who recognized him for saving their lives back in the labyrinth. They offered to walk Satou around the streets of the city.

Satou then took them up for their offer, and ends up in a brothel where he learns the skills. “Chiropractic Massage”, “Sexual Techniques”, “Pillow Talk” and “Seduction”. Satou who is still unaware of what is going on, walks out of the brothel. He then sees a black owl’s feather gliding down from the sky, and grabs hold of it in his hands.

Along the way back to his inn, he was attacked by a few magicians. Satou easily counters them, jumping into the sky firing a gun at them. He then comes back down and asks the victim if he is all right. To his surprise, the victim is wearing a flashy red helmet. He is badly wounded and said to Satou that he wouldn’t be able to last much longer. He asks Satou to save the princess.

Satou then saves him using his skills he gained as a paramedic, and lock picks his way into Odd jobs (Nadi and Yusaratoya are asleep). Waking them up, Satou explains what has happened and apologizes for disturbing them at this hour. Satou then uncovers a towel, showing a young girl elf who is sleeping soundly. Yusaratoya tone became stupefied and immediately recognizes the girl as Mia. This episode then ends here.

Top ten best isekai animes of all time

There is a huge increase in the number of Isekai Animes, and hype for this anime genre isn’t slowing down too. In fact, there are various other mangas that falls under the Isekai genre, and have yet taken flight. I have read and watched multiple Isekai based animes, and here are the Top 10, best isekai animes of all time which will give you a great experience.

10) Wise Man’s Grandchild

Before the arrival of the anime: “My hero Academia”, this anime was the rising star of Isekai, bringing in a new concept of anime, where the main character dies on earth, and is brought to another world, remembering who he was, and how he died. Released on spring 2019, this anime is packed with Action, humor, where the protagonist uses his knowledge on earth to earn him powers that are unmatched like no other.

9) The Saga of Tanya the Evil

The main protagonist of the anime is an elite Salary man based in Japan. After deciding to fire one of the company’s employees, he gets murdered and is sent to an isekai world by “Being X”. Forcing the protagonist to believe in god, Tanya is placed into multiple dire situations and is constantly rebelling against “Being X”. Tanya, constantly fighting for her survival is forced into the military out of choice, and rises the ranks when fighting a war. This anime is one of the “must watch” anime’s for any Otakus out there.

8) How Not to Summon a Demon Lord

How not to summon a demon lord (Hepburn: Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo No Dorei Majutsu) is definitely an isekai anime catered towards Males… Featuring the male OP protagonist, Sakamoto Takuma. Being summoned into an isekai world, with the body of his gaming character and crazily overpowered stats, he helps to solve the problems of the two mages that summoned him. Blasting his way through any obstacles, he is practically unstoppable.

This anime has countless “ero” scenes and is definitely a fun and hilarious anime to watch. Definitely a great anime to test if he has a dirty mind😁.

7) Arifureta Shokugyou De Sekai Saikyou

Arifureta Shokugyou De Sekai Saikyou is an isekai anime where the protagonist “Hajime Nagumo” along with his class is summoned into a fantasy world. Unlike conventional isekai anime, the protagonist does not have godly powers from the beginning, and the anime features his character development before he became OP. Being sabotaged once, the protagonist is constantly placed in “life-or-death” situations and adapts a very cautious and distrusts almost anyone around him. Season 2 of the anime is said to air on January, 2022, definitely a must watch for fellow otaku peeps.

6) No Game no Life

“An anime that definitely will make you laugh.” This anime features Sora and Shiro whom where the main characters of the story. The siblings are shut in’s/ hikikomori, and both of them have terrible social anxiety. However, the two siblings are Genius Level prodigies. One example was Shiro (younger sister of Shiro) being able to memorize all the different variations in a chess game, treating it like a simple game of tik-tack-toe. When transported into another world, which governs based on “game like betting rules”, the duo (a.k.a. blank) which have never lost in their life learns and progresses their journey from being in the worst/ lowest possible position. The anime has a popularity rating of 13, based on MAL, and one otaku should have already watched it, maybe even twice.

5) That time I got reincarnated as a Slime

That time I got reincarnated as a Slime, (Hepburn: Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken) is first aired on the Autumn of 2018, the anime then got popular after its release of the second season when it was recently aired on the Winter of 2021. The anime first features a virgin male protagonist which is murdered and thus sent to another world/ isekai after his death. He is reincarnated as a slime with godly powers. Being in the new world as a slime, he aims to build a city where humans, demons and monsters can live harmoniously together. When watching the anime, there were also certain scenes that makes one emotional. For the great plot and animation, it therefore is ranked fifth in the list.

4) Overlord

Overlord is one of the anime’s where we get to see the true antagonist as the protagonist of the story. As the demon lord was human that is trapped in a game, he is a true demon lord with the heart of a human. The anime then shows us how he uses his overpowered stats in his gaming account to his benefits as a demon lord. From manipulating the hearts of the masses, and threatening the lives of humans doing bad deeds(e.g. murder, rape, torture, slavery). He shows no signs of the devil, and works more like a law enforcer. He does this in hopes to gain reputation, hoping that somebody could bring him/ “rescue” him out from the game. When watching overlord, I do not recommend skipping the previous seasons, and to watch the anime from the beginning sequentially.

3) Re: zero

Have you ever wished to go back in time to make things right? Subaru Natsuki is a hikikomori (some one who stays home and is anti-social) who was transported into The Kingdom of Lugnica (isekai). Just moments after arriving, he was killed by an assassin named Elsa. However, instead of dying, he is teleported back to the same place. After dying multiple times, Subaru learns that he actually goes back in time every time he dies, and that he is capable of manipulating the events to make the overall outcome better. While this seems like a blessing, Subaru still feels the pain before dying and is cursed to remember all the horrors that had happened. In this anime, Subaru uses his power to save the people he loves. Is Subaru truly selfless, or simply selfish?
I strongly recommend Re: Zero for multiple reasons. There are many surprises and twists along Subaru’s journey as he tries to save as many lives as possible. It is interesting to watch the mind games Subaru has to play in order to find his success. While the first season focuses on how Subaru uses his power, the second season delves into the character and character development of Subaru, and Emilia, as well as formally introducing the seven witches.

2) Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online has probably caused the most number of controversies. The reason why this anime is on the list is because of how this anime has influenced many anime makers into creating an “isekai gaming” genre. Also, this anime has sparked countless of other similar like anime where the protagonist is stuck in a gaming world after putting on a full dive VR head gear. In my opinion, this anime is best watched with subtitles, instead of the English dubbed version. Today, there are multiple other SAO anime, and the anime even sells its own merch separate from the other animes. SAO is ranked fourth in popularity in MAL, and the anime is re-watched multiple times. Definitely an OP mc kind of anime, however (slight spolier: there are ups and downs for the protagonist as well). A must watch anime for all.

1) Konosuba

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this wonderful world, is an isekai anime which is ranked 34 in popularity in MAL. The reason the anime comes top in this list is due to 2 main reasons. Firstly, the anime features certain elements that are more realistic in the storyline, which also brings joy and laughter to us viewers. Secondly, there are countless of radio programs that feature the voice actresses when making of this anime. It is one of the animes where there is more publicity and a chance where you will get to meet and greet the Voice actresses Takahashi Rie and Fukushima Jun. There are also countless of other merch and games based on this anime making more hype for the anime as well. This anime is among strongly recommend for your pleasure (use english subtitles), and do remember to subscribe for more interesting content. 😁

The list above judges Isekai Animes after the release of Winter Animes on 2021.

The episode begins with Satou forming a contract with 2 female slaves. Lulu and Arisa. Arisa, 11, was able to understand Japanese and was born in the kingdom of Kuvork. Arisa is slightly more outgoing and confident whereas Lulu is very timid and shy. Introducing themselves to one another, Arisa shows her affection to both Tama and Pochi, saying that she is happy to be with Satou as her master (due to how cute Tama and Pochi are).

Satou being more worried about Tama and Pochi is now relieved that Arisa is not prejudiced towards demi-humans. On the way back to their apartment, Lulu gets hungry, she lets her stomachs to growl and is embarrassed about it. Satou then enjoys having a meal with them.

Satou then drifts off into his own analysis on the food he is eating, and is fully satisfied with his meal, Simmered Sheep Entrails. The food was mainly made to cater to hard labor workers with a stronger crave of salty food and had a nice stent to the food too. A waiter then brings up a few more spicy dishes and the vibes of the place were great.

After that, Satou decides to go for a stroll and get some clothing for all his slaves. He orders his slaves to continue enjoying their food, while he goes out to do some shopping. Along the way back from the apparel shop, Satou buys grilled chicken for Liza as a late night’s snack. However, he encounters pitiful looking animals/ demi-humans slaves in an aisle. He decides to give them the grilled chicken snack out of pity, and used the skill, “Service”.

All looks sparkly and shiny when the slaves have placed their new clothes, and they all looked happy about their gift from their master, Satou.

When returning to the inn that Satou stays in, Satou decides to get a room for all his other slaves as well. However, the inn keeper explained that all the rooms are booked up, and they do not have enough space to let them all stay in Satou’s room. The atmosphere turned grey in an instant and many people in the inn’s bar weren’t comfortable with the slaves living in the inn.

Thankfully, thanks to the quick witted Arisa, things have turned differently. She asks the inn keeper if it is all right to live in a stable or a small shed with the others. She then uses magic on everyone while saying that, and “brainwashes” everyone into thinking that the slaves and Satou have helped rescue countless of humans in the labyrinth, and despite not receiving any medal or commendation, she asks mercy to be spared from all.

After calming the atmosphere, the inn keeper welcomes them to their stable, where Liza, Tama and Pochi got to sleep on a fluffy pillow made by Satou’s skill needle work. Lulu and Arisa then proceeded, following Master Satou to his room. The two then removed all their clothes, thinking that Satou required them to “service”/have sex with him. Satou used the skill of “Poker face” and assured them both that they wouldn’t need to do this kind of things in the future. While Lulu is thankful(in tears), Arisa on the other hand didn’t seem to be happy about it for a second.

In the middle of the night, Satou gets awoken by Arisa. Arisa is riding on top of him naked and used the psychic magic to control Satou’s thoughts and actions. Thankfully, Satou gets a control of himself, and breaks out of Arisa’s magic. He then orders Arisa that she is hereby forbidden to using any magic or skills. He also orders Arisa to release the magic that was casted on him. He also quickly levels up his Psychic Resistance levels along with an interrogation skill which he acquired. Using his newly founded skill interrogation, he questions Arisa’s actions and asks what were her intentions.

Arisa then embarrassingly revealed that she has fallen for Satou the first time they met, and wanted to “Service” him, taking him all for herself. She also states her future plans to marry him, and the atmosphere became hilarious. She thinks that it is a slave’s duty to seduce her master, and then make him “feel good”. She also hilariously mentioned that she was overcome with lust and therefore decided to make a move on him.

To fill in on her understanding of Japanese earlier, she mentions that her name is Tachibana Arisa and is also formerly Japanese like him. She says that she was once Tachibana Arisa, and was reincarnated into the Kuvork Kingdom still retaining her memories before. She then guessed that Satou-san was also a Japanese summoned into this world as a hero and based that off from Satou’s black hair.

She also says that he is the second Japanese person she has met since she was born here, and says that Lulu’s great-grandfather was a Japanese person, giving Lulu black hair due to genetics. She then states that due to her black hair, people here don’t find her attractive.

Satou then learns that there are two ways in which someone can come to this world from Japan. The first was via reincarnation, where the person has to die on earth before being reborn here. The second was via summoning magic, where the person is forced into this world via summoning magic, these people were usually heroes or transfers. People who are reincarnated start from babies, and the people that were summoned always appeared wearing what they wore at the time they were transported, also their body features remained the same, giving them black hair.

When Satou things about it, he things that either of those cases didn’t apply to him, and Arisa learns that he didn’t managed to meet god/ was inside a summoner’s circle when he appeared in this world. Talking longer and longer with each other, Satou then asks Arisa how she became a slave and tries to understand her more.

Waking up in the morning with knocks on the door, Zena, along with the inn keeper’s daughter enters the room seeing Satou half naked, Lulu with a top and Arisa fully naked sleeping next to him. The atmosphere turned a little dangerous and funny at the same time.

As Zena runs out of the Inn, Satou quickly placed on his coat, jumps out of a window and catches up with Zena and quickly patches things up with a dance, saying that it was all a misunderstanding. He clears her doubts easily answering all her questions during the dance. Satou then compliments her dress, changing the topic, making Zena feel slightly better. He also offered to take Zena to a store selling Shawls and says that he things that it would look good on her.

Welcoming them back are the slaves, and they were happy that he was able to clear the misunderstandings by himself. Satou then passes Arisa a bag of coins and asks them to buy daily necessities and clothes for themselves. Zena is thus confident that Satou intends to use the slaves to help him with his daily business. (not in bed🤣)

Satou then wraps this episode up saying that they don’t deserve to be treated like slaves, and should be treated well instead.

The episodes starts with Tama, Pochi, Liza and Satoo exploring the Labyrinth. Tama was tasked to collect rocks by master Satoo. Further exploring the Labyrinth, they meet and defeated multiple monsters such as a Giant Caterpillar, and more Caterpillars… Talk about a scary like opponent. In order to help increase the rank of the 3 demi-humans that are at single digit levels, our protagonist Satoo, asked the trio to also take part in defeating the giant worms. The rocks are used to throw and distract the monsters.

Tama and Liza were tasked to collect the cores of the caterpillar Satoo and his team has defeated, and the other 2, Satoo and Pochi continues moving on, to defeat the caterpillar. Howevr, Pochi being afraid of the caterpillar, ran further into the Labyrinth, away from the Caterpillar. Satoo kill the Caterpillar in no time, and grasps Pochi shirt from behind. He consoles her, and learns the skill Tamer.

After which the 4 continued their journey into the labyrinth, to find more monsters and then defeating them. The 3 also enjoyed the nice food that Master Satoo had given them, and took rest breaks when they were tired. The levels of the 3 increased with time as they further explores the depths of the labyrinth. The labyrinth also features a library, along with a laboratory and a treasure room.

The 4 then defeated a giant toad, and cooked its meat. Liza the chef made the toad’s meat into meatballs and Satoo enjoyed his meal. The 4 enjoyed every part of their journey, not neglecting sleep and baths. Is this a resort?!?!?!?! Finally, there was a worthy opponent that could put the lives of the 3 demi-humans at risk. However, Mr Satoo just kicks it down a pit. The undead creature fell to its death. The 4 also came cross a spider’s nest, and wrapped inside the sticky spider silk are humans who have succumbed to the spider’s webs. They released 2 people trapped inside cocoons and among them, there is one named Jin Belton. He is the head of the Belton Viscounts, and dressed up like a nobility. He was a humble man, and he thanked the demi-humans for saving him. He also offered to reward them when they were out of the Labyrinth. There were too some unappreciative ones, which Satoo decides to leave behind, and let them fend for themselves.

Satoo and the others heard the sounds of soldiers ahead, in battle. The soldiers were in battle with the slimes and they were forced into helplessness. Satoo wastes no time in organizing the trio to rescue the soldiers, using Liza’s knowledge to destroy the core of the slimes. The trio successfully rescued the soldiers, and Satoo reunites with Zena. After the soldiers were healed, they then tried to force open a metal door in their way. They found a treasure chest, which was a trap. After opening the chest, the monster whom created the labyrinth jumps out, greeting the soldiers with evil laughter. The monster casts a spell, making all the humans around to attack and fight each other. Satoo along with the nobility, Jin Belton were the only ones that were unafffected by the monster’s charms.

Trying to awaken everyone, Jin uses a mid-level spell, Blast Pole and attacks the monster. However, that was not effective against the monster that was way above his league. To make things worse, Satoo was attacked by a black wolf, and down into a long winding tunnel. Satoo dissolves the wolf, in an instant, and uses the chance to disguise himself using the masks and wig he bought. This allows him to fight without exposing his true identity. However, before the monster could be defeated, it summons a bigger threat to everyone…. …. The Demon Lord.

The battle against the demon lord was epic, and every part of the fight was unlike no other. However, against our protagonist, which was above 300 levels, the Demon Lord which was only above level 60 succumbed in terms of sheer strength. During the battle, Satoo decides not to use his Holy sword. However, he decides to use a magic wand. When upgrading the skill “fireshot” to its highest, the others mistakes the low tiered spell “fireshot” with the highest tiered spell “crimson javelin”. Satoo shocks the Demon lord with its spell and jumps in, now changing his weapon to the Holy sword. He also changes his status as “God killer”, which made the sword in his hands accept him, therefore striking the Demon lord on the ground. The fight ends off with heroic looking Satoo, slaying the Demon lord into 2 halves. Satoo gains the title as “Hero”.

Finally, Satoo gets reunited with the others, and everyone was glad that he was safe. He was also called out by a slave trader he rescued earlier. The slave trader then states that the 3 demi-humans were now officially master satoo’s slaves, and handles the official documents for him free of charge, as a reward for saving him earlier. He continues further more to promote more slaves to Satoo. The episode ends with a slave (mentioned earlier as “Exiled Witch”/ “Crazy Princess” Real name: Arisa), coming out from a tent, saying Satoo’s name, startling Satoo.

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku (Episode 3)

The amazing episodes starts off with Zena bringing Satoo around the town. Enjoying snacks around the town, Zena-san accidentally got her shirt stained from a running kid. A charmer named Jimaana then introduces herself to the couple. She uses 2 spells, “soft wash” and “dry”, getting rid of the stain for Zena. The protagonist learns the new skill “Everyday magic”.

Continuing on their “date” around town, Satoo learns that Zena learns magic hoping she could fly one day. Following the conversation, Satoo humbly says that he wants to learn magic as there are no baths at the inns, and wants to get himself clean using magic, rather than outside the inn. He acquires the skill “Self-concealment” and the titles “Buffoon” and “Gentleman”.

Along the way to the windmill, they stopped by Pallion Temple. Satoo enquires about a mural, picturing a Hero fighting with the Demon Lord. He further learns about the Hero’s sword which has magical like properties. It shimmers blue when the sword accepts the wielder, and glows brighter for if the wielder has a fate/ responsibility to defeat the Demon lord. On the way to the Windmill, Satoo learns that there are multiple demon lords, and the ones that control demons are prioritized as the most dangerous ones.

The time for trouble has come, Satoo and Zena stands up against an act of atrocity. The Zaicuon’s head priest is selling ordinary stones to be thrown at 3 demi-human slaves. He proclaims that they are the “Demon Lords’ ilk” and one could be righteous with god by throwing the stones at them. Satoo observes the situation from afar, and realizes the 3 demi-human slaves were not owned by the priest, and were owned by someone named Urs, in a guild named “Sewer Rats”. Satoo then detects the area for Sewer Rats members who are also mixed among the public members to stir trouble. He maxes up his skill “kidnapping”, and brings the other members of Sewer Rats to sleep. He kicks Urs and while he is in an unconscious state, throws him in front of everyone.

He states the doings of Urs, and falsely accuses that Urs wanted to use the Head priest’s status and power to brainwash them all to lead a rebellion against the Count. However, his false accusation has hit it’s mark, and residing inside Urs’s soul is a Demon. When the demon emerges, there was panic everywhere, and the Head Priest of Zaicuon was also attacked.

Satoo was tasked to escort the 3 demi-human slaves who were locked by chains, away from the scene, while Zena mentions she would get backup. Loyal and unaware of the situation, the slaves didn’t realize that their master has already died, and therefore stayed on the ground, not budging.

The 3 demi-humans and Satoo were therefore being sucked by the demonic being into it’s lair. The 4 are now on a mission to get out of the labyrinth. Satoo first gave the 3 demi-humans names, and furthermore gave them towels to clean and disinfect their wounds, he also gave them some ointment he bought earlier to treat those wounds and treats them to Honey Buns. The 3 of them were more than appreciative of him.

Giving Liza a dagger, he orders the 3 not to fight only at his commands, and organizes his team, giving them roles. In the labyrinth, the 3 sees a spider like monster, and it was defeated in 3 shots from Satoo’s gun (he calls it a magical item). The core of the spider was extracted by Liza, as she mentions that the core of monsters usually sells well, and it could also be traded well with other merchants. Using materials from the defeated spider, Satoo then makes a spear, and passes it it Liza. Liza passes her used dagger to tama, the cat looking demi-human.

The episode ends when the 4 are motivated to continue their exploration in the lair.

NARUTO: Did Naruto’s creator dig his own grave?

Naruto was one of the “Big Three Anime”, and it has an estimate franchise price of $10 billion, due to its popularity and support from fans all over the world. After Naruto Shippuden concluded its series of Episodes on March 23, 2017. The creator, Masashi Kishimoto took a break, before returning and started airing its new series, Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generations on April 5, 2017. The new series features a new male protagonist, Boruto, Naruto’s son. However, the viewership of Boruto is not looking well as compared to Naruto and why’s that?

Naruto never gets stronger.

When watching Naruto Shippuden, the viewers of Naruto are always expecting the male protagonist, Naruto to always have the power to beat stronger enemies and rise up to the top, from the very bottom. The power level of Naruto increases after every episode. When Naruto has became Hokage, and defeated kaguya, it feels like naruto has reached the prime of its time, and therefore will not advance any further. In Boruto, we see that Naruto has not used it’s powers of being a Jinchuriki, and has in fact gotten weaker.

Naruto no longer the Protagonist.

Hard-core Naruto fans get welled up and support the MANGA/ Anime after watching Naruto go through thick and thin. In Naruto Shippuden, there are many scenes that appealed to the audiences emotions, making them want to support Naruto. By starting a new series with Boruto being the protagonist, along with showing how Boruto despises his father had made things even worse for Boruto: Naruto’s next generations.

Sudden changes of atmosphere/ vibes.

In Naruto Shipppuden, there are constant Ancient Japanese vibes where Ninjas often used olden day weapons and powers gotten from years of training in order to become stronger. In Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generations, viewers have to keep in mind that a substantial amount of time has passed, and technology is now wide spread all around.

The lack of a Rival to make Boruto stronger.

For the viewers that got past those above, and have well adapted to all the major changes between the 2 series, they have managed to put their faith and believe that Boruto might get stronger, and might eventually win/ be the successor of Naruto. However here comes the problem. Where is Boruto’s drive? Boruto lacks a rival to make him want to get stronger/ train harder. This makes the viewers worry, which lose their eagerness.

The sudden drop in Power Level.

After the Ninja war in Naruto, things have gotten peaceful, and Naruto’s Creator Masashi Kishimoto and his team have made a movie, in which he features how Naruto has discovered Hinata’s unrequited love for him. Naruto and Hinata then got married and became a happy couple. This movie sparked a fire within the female fans and the movie has thus reached viewership like never before. However, the core of Naruto’s fan base still lies within his power levels, along with how he attracts viewers with his desire to protect everyone around him.

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku (Episode 1)

The scene starts with Suzuki-san rushing in a train before departure. Suzuki-san is a middle aged man at his 29, he is single, and he works at a Game development company as a programmer.

The next few scenes shows Suzuki-san loyalty to his company, despite how poorly he is treated. He is kind and friendly in nature, with an excellent attitude when at work. However, due to this, he is always being made used of. Despite completing his work/ tasks early, he wasn’t able to take breaks, let alone bathing and sleeping. The scene then further describes how he has not bathed for 3 days, and how he has not slept for 30 hours. He works for a “black company” and is now solving major in-game bugs.

After solving those hard to fix bugs, along with many other issues, Suzuki-san finally has a peace of mind, and looks that are unrivaled to a slave that was worked to the bone. He has dark circles around his eyes due to the lack of sleep, along with a monotonous and draggy voice. The next scene then shows his peaceful sleep on the floor below his office table.

The next scene shows Satoo (game name used by Suzuki-san when he is test running games) waking up on a red sanded rocky mountain cliff. He finds himself stuck in another world/Isekai which he thought was a dream at first, however, as time went on he even slept and woke up in this Isekai world. He also experienced pain which was too realistic to be fake.

Satoo tries to log himself out of the game, however due to system faults, he is stuck in a terrible situation, where he is attacked by a horde of lizardman via arrows. (Very ancient). To escape from trouble, he uses the mythical items that was in his inventory. (3 magical spells of meteor showers which obliterated everything around him)

Because of that, our main character Satoo has maxed-out his “game character” in every way possible. He also has large amounts of items from the lizardman he obliterated previously, along with a huge amount of money.

He further explores around the place and levels up his fighting skills along the way using the skill points he already has, before reaching the outskirts of an RPG like city. The scene further changes as Satoo throws a rock at a Wyvern, piercing it’s wings. This led the Wyvern to fly away from him, and towards an army on patrol. The army was made up of warriors, archers and magicians, and they cooked up a storm when fighting against the Wyvern.

The Wyvern is now seriously injured, and it takes a strategic retreat, flying away from the army. The Army commander then commands one of his mages, “Zena” to stop the Wyvern/kill it. Zena chants her magical spell on the Wyvern. However, the back blast from her spell also led to her being thrown up into the air, and falling down at dangerous speeds. The other mages tried to cushion her fall with spells, but to no avail.

The episode ends when our male protagonist, Satoo. Jumps off from a cliff he was on, successfully catching Zena in his arms.

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku (Episode 2)

The episode starts with Satoo carrying Zena in his arms, and landing on a tree branch which was sticking out of the side of a rocky cliff. Satoo then uses his upgraded stats which basically allowed him to jump up the cliff, gaining the title of a hero.

In the next scene, Zena then shows her appreciation to her saviour Satoo, and shows her keen liking to Satoo-san. She then introduced herself as Zena Marientail who is currently a retainer of Count Salue, a military mage that has been working for 2 years. She adds that she is 17 years old, unmarried, and she also doesn’t have a boyfriend.

Satoo gets suddenly attacked by other soldiers, asking him to stay away from their friend Zena. Zena tries to explain the situation to her friend, before Satoo steps in and say that he is a travelling merchant (which was a lie) he gains/learns 2 skills, Persuasion and Trickery. Although Zena’s friends, Lilio and another girl (soldiers) were doubtful he manages to get pass them with the Trickery skill he has.

On the way to Salue city, Satoo learns that about the value a Wyvern corpse could bring such as the armour and cloaks that are made from it. However, the meat of the wyvern is known to taste horrible, and the only way to get rid of it was to let the slaves(20% of the population) in west town eat it.

In the bustling Salue town, Satoo gets his papers (contains his status information), along with a city entry visa which is only valid for 10 days. Later, he got hugged by a cute girl, Martha, and gets dragged into an inn which is owned by her parents, talk about a pushy sales person. He pays for the accommodation for 10 days, talks to the inn owner. He learns the existence of the demon lord along with other mythical creatures like dragons.

When exploring the town with Martha, he sees 2 demi humans, a cat and a dog that were bullied as they were slaves. He also notices a cart carrying slaves, one slave named Arisa, a.k.a. “Exiled Witch”/ “Crazy Princess”. He continues to enjoy the city, along with a dinner at the inn which was mouth watering.

When in bed, Satoo analyzes the “game” which he thinks he’s trapped in. Thinking back, : 1) He realizes that the lizardmen he encountered are too realistic. 2) The fight between the soldiers and the Wyvern was too tense which exceeds the standards of a promotional video of an RPG game. 3)The number of variations within the towns people. 4) The new language he had to “learn”/”skill level up” which was new to him. 5) Along with the taste of the food which he never experienced before. The things he sees in the “game” does not relate to anything he knows about and therefore comes to a conclusion that it was not a dream, and that his plan of action now is to enjoy sightseeing the town as much as possible. He thinks that finding his way back home was less important and therefore wants to have fun, while learning more about the world he is in to improve himself as a game creator. He then goes to bed.

The next morning, Satoo was awakened by Martha, saying that “his girlfriend” was waiting for him outside the inn. He was greeted by Zena in a lovely outfit, saying she wants to bring Satoo around town.
